So today was the official start of the new school year and what better way to start it with than my first Japanese class. Hanabusa-sensei was so fun and energetic that I couldn't hlep but be excited as well. It was really different to be in a complete immersion language class. I think the only english she spoke was while reading the syllabus to us. I've studied Japanese before, but I've always had some trouble with listening to native speakers and talking with a natural Japanese tone. My reading is pretty good as far as katakana and hiragana go, but kanji is not my bestfriend at all. My writing is ok, but I know that I often forget stroke order for a lot of characters. All in all I'm really excited for all of my future Japanese classes this school year. If only my books would come in the mail already..........

Genki desuka? I'm typing in linux so I'm not going to bother typing in romaji. Anyway, you seem to be legit with japanese at least in comparison to me...so that makes you my new best friend lol. btw go to the plunge lol.
ReplyDeleteI know what it is like to not have your textbooks when classes have already started..as in my BALW textbooks...But yes, Hanabusa sensee is very energetic and easily motivates you despite the early hours. I am just as excited to be taking Japanese this year!
ReplyDeleteそうですね。ええ、かんじをむずかしいですね!週末に日本語をたくさんべんきょうしましたか? xP but seriously, what a smack in the face it was to be in class the first day.
ReplyDeleteかんじはとてもむずかしいです。たくさんかんじです。
ReplyDeleteHowever! 日本語のじゅぎょうはとてもたのしいでおもしろいです!:D
